Indian Premier League gets its new Indian title sponsor TATA Group on the board for the year 2022 and 2023.
The news first burst out through Rajkotupdates.news : TATA Group Takes The Rights For The 2022 and 2023 IPL Seasons in which it was confirmed that IPL gets its first indigenous title sponsor in the name of the most trustworthy and legacy brand of India TATA Group. This is a moment of proud for all Indians as TATA group was always amongst in the minds of Indian people.
After the conclusion of IPL Governing Council, IPL Chairman Mr. Brijesh Patel said “Yes, Tata group is coming in as IPL title sponsor,”. They will be replacing VIVO for the 2022 and 2023 season as VIVO has expressed that they are unable to continue further.
In an interview to The Hindu, IPL Chairman Mr Brijesh Patel said “We are delighted with Tata Sons having come on board as the title sponsors for Indian Premier League. The situation arose with Vivo being unable to continue its association. Tatas will be the title sponsors for the next two editions,”
